When is the best time to visit?
The hands down best time of the year to visit Indonesia is between May and September, when the days are dry and sunny. That being said, it stays warm and comfortable during the wet season as well, when you should expect intense downpours that last a few hours but clear up pretty quickly.
Where to go in Indonesia?
As tempting as it is to spend the entire trip relaxing in Bali, there’s so much more to Indonesia than beaches and spa treatments. Visit active and dormant volcanoes, such as Mt. Bromo in the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park, or paddle through the Komodo National Park, home of the world famous Komodo Dragons. You will inevitably travel in and out of Indonesia via Jakarta, and other cultural destinations to explore include Yogyakarta, Tana Toraja, and the Baliem Valley.
How many days do I need?
Indonesia is best experienced at a slower pace. Let yourself enjoy the beaches and other natural scenery, and maybe even visit a spa or two. Try to reserve at least a week to really savor this country.
Spend eight days in two of Bali's most popular spots with this itinerary. You'll start off in Seminyak, visiting surfing beaches and watching the sun set. Then head to Ubud to take in the temples and wildlife and learn to cook in the Balinese style before you depart.
Tied the knot and want a customized trip to celebrate your love? Try honeymooning in Bali. This tour combines culture, relaxation, beautiful landscapes, snorkeling, and a touch of adventure: the perfect combination for an unforgettable honeymoon.

Spend the last part of the trip in the resort town of Seminyak, the perfect jumping-off point for a boat cruise and snorkeling trip around Nusa Lembongan.
This two-week itinerary will take you from East Java to Bali with stops at sites both famous and less-frequented. Tour multiple Javanese temples, including Borobodur and Prambanan; trek up to the tops of Bromo, Kawah Ijen, and Batur volcanoes; and stroll through terraced rice fields and coffee plantations as you explore these two lush islands.

You'll explore western Flores and the Komodo Archipelago, accompanied by knowledgeable local guides and rangers. Work your way through rugged terrain to secluded caves and remote villages, overnighting in local homes and breaking bread with locals. Then embark on a three-day boat trip through the Komodo archipelago that features jungle hikes, wildlife-viewing walks, and underwater excursions where you'll have the chance to snorkel with colorful fish.

Our Specialist: Theresa
Theresa was so awesome from the beginning! As someone who lives in Bali herself, she was able to give us honest opinion on what the places are about and how long the wait time would be for pictures, and from there we were able to easily determine if it's worth our time. She created a perfect itinerary exactly what we wanted and covers all the things we wanted to see, even planned a small secret birthday celebration and massage for my gf and her best friend. Theresa was fantastic! We only started planning this trip about 3 weeks before we planned to go, and she made it happen. She gave us a great first draft of our itinerary based on the online survey we took, and then helped us to fine tune it until our trip was exactly what we wanted. She understood the vibe we were going for, the mix of activities, and then when we were in Bali, she checked on us almost every day. We loved the cultural experience in Sideman, the sunrise hike up Mount Batur, ... read more
